If you’re feeling creative, you can try making your own unique flower decorations, like turning a pack of plastic spoons into a cool, translucent flower for your bouquet. All you need is a lighter and some basic supplies to melt and shape the spoons into petals.
This craft project is super easy and doesn’t require any special skills – as long as you can use a lighter, you can do it. Gather up some plastic spoons, a candle, gloves, scissors, and a hot glue gun. Just be sure to work in a well-ventilated area since melting plastic releases fumes. The process of making flower decor out of plastic spoons
According to a TikTok tutorial, to make these plastic spoon flowers, you’ll need about 20 spoons per flower. Hold each spoon over a candle flame to melt the plastic, then use your gloved fingers to shape the melted spoon into a curled petal shape. Do this for around 20 spoons, then take the last one and bend the handle at a 90 degree angle. Glue all the petal-shaped spoons together with hot glue to create the flower form. You can make as many flowers as you want to fill up your vase.
For a more colorful look, try using colored plastic spoons instead of clear ones.
