A man who says he is living in the year 2028 has been sharing what he calls proof that every other human being has disappeared. Javier, who posts on TikTok, claims he has spent 340 days completely alone in a post-apocalyptic world, and his videos of deserted streets have drawn a huge online audience.

A world with nobody in it

Javier says he is based in Spain, and many of his clips show empty streets in Valencia where buildings and vehicles stand untouched. His account is named @unicosobreviviente, which means "Only Survivor" in English. It has gathered 6.6 million followers, and he keeps adding fresh footage of the city with no sign of human life anywhere in it.

Oddly, he says power and internet access still work in this imagined future, which is how he is able to post the videos. After 340 days of total isolation, he claims he remains entirely alone, with the whole world at his fingertips.

Empty places, unanswered questions

The text on one of his latest uploads reads: "Day 340 alone in the world, I have toured cities and many more. What could be happening to me?" In another recent clip, he explores a museum, which he says is "always full of people." The building looks immaculately maintained, yet nobody else appears anywhere in the recording.

Since his first upload, Javier has kept sharing updates about his "life in the future." He has also posted footage that he says shows Barcelona, Madrid and Seville. Other videos take viewers through apartment complexes and past a children’s play area, but every place looks like a ghost town. One clip, apparently filmed from above with a drone, shows him by himself on an empty shoreline.

A plea for help

Javier maintains that he is "stuck" in the future and is working to find a route back home. He argues that the content on his social media pages proves he is the only human survivor after an apocalypse.

In earlier clips, he appealed to his audience directly. "I keep trying to find human life. I am starting to lose hope," he said. "Today I got something to eat. How long is this going to last? Mention in the comments who might be able to help me."

Not everyone is convinced. Several followers have questioned his claims and tried to challenge his story. Asked how the electricity stays on and how the internet keeps running, he admitted he "wasn’t sure". He did offer a theory, saying "most likely there is a type of connection between 2021 and 2027."

For now, Javier keeps posting from the silent streets he says he has all to himself. He continues to insist that he is stuck in the future, still searching for any sign of other people and for a way home, while his millions of followers keep watching and asking questions.
