A man who says he has travelled back from the year 2045 has made a string of startling predictions about the future, and a lie detector reportedly backed him up. Appearing with his face hidden and wired to a polygraph, Adam Archon claims he journeyed to 2023 from two decades ahead. His forecasts range from alien arrivals to zoos full of dinosaurs, and they have left viewers split between fascination and doubt.

A chip in the hand

Archon said that by 2045 everyone will be microchipped, much as pets are today. He says he already carries one in his hand, which he calls "The One". His body slightly rejected the implant at first and his hand swelled up, but "everything is basically normal" now, he said.

The idea is not entirely far-fetched. Elon Musk’s Neuralink project is working on brain chips meant to help treat conditions including obesity, autism, depression and schizophrenia. Archon argued that such technology will lead to humans merging with robots and holograms, while time travellers like him zip through history in "modern UFOs".

Aliens and one world government

Archon also claimed that aliens will make first contact in August 2028, though he insisted they do not come from space. "I can confirm that aliens do not come from space, but I cannot elaborate on where they come from because of the possibility of a paradox," he said. The polygraph reportedly registered these statements as truthful.

Nations, he said, will eventually "converge into one super nation", divided into seven zones with the same laws and currency. Artificial intelligence would make most decisions, with 10 people monitoring its programming and morality. Payment would be done through the hand chip. "There is no cash," he said.

Dinosaur zoos

The most eye-catching claim was about the zoos of the future. Archon said visitors will be able to see real dinosaurs in captivity. "You can see T-rex’s, Triceratops, velociraptors. If they existed, you can see it," he said.

He added that people will also be able to travel back to visit major world events. The idea bears a strong resemblance to the Jurassic Park films, where mixing humans with prehistoric predators does not end well.

Viewers are not convinced

The video, which appeared on YouTube, did not win over many people watching. Plenty of commenters questioned its credibility. One pointed out: "If the guy is insane and believes his lies then the lie detector won’t detect that he’s lying.."

Another wrote: "I want a lie detector for the lie detector. Simply saying it’s true without providing any data is no different than a human giving the same results.." A third noticed that he seemed to answer yes to every question.

There is no independent evidence for any of the claims. A polygraph only measures bodily signals such as heart rate, so it cannot show whether a statement is actually true. For now, Archon’s predictions remain just that, and the first big test would come in 2028, when he says the aliens will arrive.
